Janet Leigh was an American actress, best known for her roles in the films Psycho and The Manchurian Candidate. She was born Jeanette Helen Morrison in 1927 and had a successful career in Hollywood spanning five decades. Leigh was the mother of actress Jamie Lee Curtis and the grandmother of Annie Starke. Leigh's sister, SIS, was also an actress, known for her roles in the films The Big Sleep and The Uninvited.
