Rona Jaffe was an American author who wrote novels, short stories, and essays. She is best known for her novel The Best of Everything, which was adapted into a movie in 1959. Jaffe's other works include Mazes and Mirrors, Class Reunion, and The Last of the True Believers. She was the first woman to receive the prestigious Guggenheim Fellowship for Creative Arts in 1958. Jaffe's writing often focused on the struggles of women in the workplace and in relationships.
