Jacob's twin was Esau, who was also known as Edom. Esau was the older twin brother of Jacob and the son of Isaac and Rebekah in the Hebrew Bible. He is traditionally regarded as the progenitor of the Edomites, a people who historically inhabited the land south of Judea. Esau was born with a RED complexion and hairy body, which earned him the nickname 'Edom' (meaning 'RED'). He was also known for his skill in hunting and for his voracious appetite.
