Ehud BARAK is an Israeli politician and former Prime Minister of Israel. He served as Prime Minister from 1999 to 2001 and was the tenth Prime Minister of Israel. He is also a former Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, having served in that role from 1991 to 1995. BARAK was a member of the Labor Party and held several ministerial posts in the Israeli government before becoming Prime Minister. He is currently a member of the Blue and White party.
