Amy Irving is an American actress who has starred in a variety of films. She is best known for her roles in the films 'Carrie' (1976), 'Yentl' (1983), and 'Crossing Delancey' (1988). She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in 'Yentl'. Irving is married to director Steven Spielberg and is the mother of actress Jessica Capshaw. Irving is also the daughter of actor and director Jules Irving.
