The Seneca are one of the six nations that make up the Iroquois League Nation. The other five nations are the Cayuga, Onondaga, Oneida, Mohawk, and Tuscarora. The Iroquois League Nation is a confederacy of Native American tribes located in the Northeastern United States and parts of Canada. The Iroquois League Nation was founded in the late 15th century and is known for its democratic government and its influence on the development of the United States Constitution.
