The Irish county and seaport of Sligo is located in the northwest of Ireland. It is the second largest county in the province of Connacht and has a population of around 65, 000 people. The county is known for its beautiful scenery, with the Ox Mountains, Benbulben and Knocknarea all located within its boundaries. Sligo is also home to a large fishing industry, with the port of Sligo being one of the busiest ports in the country.
