The Iraq River is a major river in Western Asia that runs through Iraq. It is formed by the confluence of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, which are two of the most important rivers in the region. The Tigris, which is six letters long, is the eastern tributary of the Iraq River. It rises in the mountains of southeastern Turkey and flows southward through Iraq to join the Euphrates near Al Qurnah.
