The Iranian language is composed of two main dialects, Avestan and Farsi. Avestan is an ancient Iranian language that was spoken in the region of present-day Iran before the 6th century BC. It is still used in Zoroastrian religious ceremonies. Farsi, also known as Persian, is the modern version of the Iranian language and is the official language of Iran. It is also spoken in Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and other parts of Central Asia.
