Ionian Islands are a group of islands located in the Ionian Sea, off the west coast of Greece. The three most well-known islands in this group are Ithaca, CORFU, and CRETE. Ithaca is a small island with a population of around 3, 000 people. CORFU is the second largest of the Ionian Islands and is known for its beautiful beaches and lush green landscapes. CRETE is the largest of the Ionian Islands and is home to many archaeological sites, as well as stunning beaches and mountains. All three of these islands offer visitors a unique experience and are popular tourist destinations.
