The Inuit dwelling known as an igloo is a dome-shaped structure made of blocks of snow, traditionally used by the Inuit people of the Arctic regions. It is constructed by cutting blocks of snow and piling them in a circle, with each successive layer overlapping the previous one. The blocks are then packed together to form a dome shape. The igloo is insulated by the snow and provides shelter from the cold temperatures of the Arctic.
