Intros are the beginning of a speech, presentation, or other form of communication. Prologs, OPENERS, and lead-ins are all types of intros. Prologs are introductory remarks that set the tone for the rest of the speech. OPENERS are the first few words of a speech that grab the audience's attention. Lead-ins are the sentences that come before the main point of the speech. All three of these terms refer to the same concept: the introduction of a speech.
