An inquisitor is a person who investigates, examines, and probes into matters of importance. An ANALYST is someone who studies and evaluates data in order to draw conclusions. An EXAMINER is someone who inspects and evaluates something in order to determine its condition or value. A prober is someone who searches for information by asking questions. An ASKER is someone who poses questions in order to obtain information. An INTERROGATOR is someone who questions someone closely and persistently in order to obtain information. All of these terms can be used to describe an inquisitor, who is someone who investigates, examines, probes, studies, evaluates, inspects, searches, poses questions, and questions closely and persistently in order to obtain information.
