The Inquisition Collar, also known as a garotte, is a device used for torture and execution. It consists of a metal collar that is tightened around the neck of the victim, cutting off their air supply until they die. The term 'garotte' comes from the French word for 'THROTTLE'. The Inquisition Collar was used during the Spanish Inquisition and other inquisitions throughout Europe in the Middle Ages.
