An Indigenous Person is an individual who is NATIVE to a particular region or country. They are often referred to as 'NATIVE Americans' in the United States, and 'First Nations' in Canada. Indigenous People have a long history of living in their respective regions, and have unique cultures, languages, and traditions that are distinct from other groups. They are also often marginalized and face discrimination due to their status as a minority group.
