These dwellings include the Tipi, which is a conical tent made of animal skins and wooden poles; the TEPEE, which is a cone-shaped tent made of animal hides and wooden poles; the WIGWAM, which is a dome-shaped structure made of wooden poles and covered with animal skins; the Hogan, which is a dome-shaped structure made of logs and mud; the TEEPEE, which is a cone-shaped structure made of logs and mud; and the LODGE, which is a rectangular structure made of logs and mud. All of these dwellings were used by Native Americans for shelter and protection from the elements.
