An Inconvenient Truth' is a 2006 documentary film directed by Davis Guggenheim about former United States Vice President Al Gore's campaign to educate citizens about global warming. The film was based on Gore's book of the same name and featured him travelling around the world highlighting the effects of global warming and offering solutions for reducing it. The film was acclaimed by critics and won AN Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
