The Inca Record is a term used to describe the ancient Inca civilization's method of record keeping, which was done through a system of knotted strings called quipu (5 letters). Quipu were used to store information such as census data, taxation records, and accounts of military campaigns. The quipu were made up of various colored strings, each with a different meaning, and could be used to communicate complex information.
