Immortal Babe is a nickname given to RUTH, an American professional baseball player who played in the Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1914 to 1935. RUTH is widely regarded as one of the greatest sports figures of the 20th century and is considered by many to be the greatest baseball player of all time. RUTH's career accomplishments include setting numerous MLB batting records, including the most home runs in a single season and the most career home runs. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1936.
