Urbana is a city in Champaign County, Illinois, United States. It is the county seat of Champaign County and the tenth-most populous city in Illinois. Urbana is the home of the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, a large public research university. The city is also a college town, with many students, faculty, and staff from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, Parkland College, and other local institutions of higher education.
