Isaac Asimov was an American writer and professor of biochemistry, best known for his works of science fiction and for his popular science books. He is widely considered to be one of the most influential authors of all time, and his work 'I, Robot' is one of the most famous examples of science fiction. Asimov wrote or edited more than 500 books and an estimated 90, 000 letters and postcards. He is also credited with introducing the Three Laws of Robotics, which are a set of rules designed to govern the behavior of robots and other forms of artificial intelligence.
