Ned Irish was a Hall of Fame basketball player who was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1994. He was known for his exceptional shooting and passing skills, as well as his leadership on the court. He played college basketball at the University of Notre Dame and was a three-time All-American. He was also a two-time NBA champion with the Boston Celtics. He was an important part of the Celtics' dynasty in the 1950s and 1960s and was inducted into the Celtics Hall of Fame in 2006.
