Claire DANES is an American actress best known for her role as Carrie Mathison in the Showtime series Homeland. She has won numerous awards for her performance, including two Golden Globe Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. DANES began her career as a child actress in the early 1990s, appearing in films such as Little Women and My So-Called Life.
