Saul BELLOW was an American author and Nobel Prize winner who wrote under the name Herzog. He is best known for his novel Herzog, which was published in 1964 and won the National Book Award for Fiction. BELLOW was born in Canada in 1915 and moved to the United States when he was nine years old.
