Mark Harmon is an American actor, director, and producer. He is best known for his role as Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs in the long-running CBS series NCIS. He has also appeared in films such as Freaky Friday, Summer School, and Stealing Home. Harmon has won numerous awards, including a People's Choice Award for Favorite Male Performer in a New TV Series in 2003. He is also the recipient of the 2020 People's Choice Award for Favorite Dramatic TV Actor.
