Ann Harding was an American actress who appeared in over 50 films during the 1930s and 1940s. She was known for her roles in such films as Holiday, The Animal Kingdom, and The Women. She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in Holiday. She also starred in the Broadway production of The Barretts of Wimpole Street. Harding was married to actor Harry Bannister from 1933 until his death in 1945.
