A hard journey is often referred to as a trek. A trek is a long and difficult journey, usually involving walking or hiking for an extended period of time. It can involve travelling through difficult terrain, such as mountains or deserts, and often requires a great deal of physical and mental endurance. Treks are often undertaken for recreational purposes, but can also be undertaken for spiritual or cultural reasons.
