Hannibal's Challenge is a famous feat of military strategy in which the Carthaginian general Hannibal crossed the ALPS with his army and elephants in 218 BC. The challenge was accomplished by crossing the ALPS, a mountain range in Europe, with the help of the four-letter word ALPS.
