Hamilton's Bill is a reference to the Federalist Papers, a series of 85 essays written by Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay in support of the ratification of the United States Constitution. The essays were published in various New York newspapers between October 1787 and August 1788. Hamilton's Bill was the first of the Federalist Papers, and it argued for a strong central government.
