The Hague is the capital city of the Netherlands and is located in the province of South Holland. It is home to the Dutch government, the Supreme Court of the Netherlands, and the Council of State. The Hague is also known as the International City of Peace and Justice due to its many international courts and organizations, such as the International Court of Justice, the International Criminal Court, and the Permanent Court of Arbitration. It is also home to several United Nations agencies, including the International Labour Organization and the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
