Jule Styne was a renowned GYPSY composer who wrote some of the most iconic songs of the 20th century. He was born in London in 1905 and moved to the United States in 1922. He wrote music for Broadway musicals, films, and television shows, and his work earned him three Academy Award nominations. He is best known for writing the music for such classic musicals as 'GYPSY, ' 'Funny Girl, ' and 'Bells Are Ringing.' He also wrote the popular Christmas song 'Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!' Styne died in 1994 at the age of 88.
