Gymnastics positions are a set of movements that require strength, flexibility, and balance. The two most common positions are the TUCK and the PIKE. The TUCK position is when the gymnast bends their knees and brings them up to their chest while keeping their arms and legs straight. The PIKE position is when the gymnast keeps their legs straight and brings their upper body forward while keeping their arms straight. Both positions require a great deal of strength and flexibility.
