Wes Montgomery was an American jazz guitarist who is widely considered one of the greatest jazz guitarists of all time. He was known for his unique style of playing, which included using octaves and a thumb-picking technique. He released several albums throughout his career, including The Incredible Jazz Guitar of Wes Montgomery and Full House. He was inducted into the Down Beat Jazz Hall of Fame in 1988.
