Chet Atkins was an American guitarist, songwriter, and record producer who was known for his unique style of country music. He was one of the most influential guitarists of the 20th century, and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1973. Atkins was also a pioneer of the Nashville sound, which helped to bring country music into the mainstream. He released over 70 albums throughout his career, and was awarded 14 Grammy Awards.
