Groves are a type of vegetation that can be found in many different sizes and shapes. Copses, forests, WOODS, and coppices are all terms used to describe groves. Copses are small clusters of trees, usually with a diameter of less than one hectare. Forests are larger areas of land covered by trees, with a diameter of more than one hectare. WOODS are similar to forests but are usually smaller in size. Coppices are small, regularly cut areas of woodland, often used for fuel or timber.
