Gridiron maneuver is a term used to describe the various plays and strategies used in American football. The four solutions for this term are LATERAL, PUNT, SNEAK, and endrun. A LATERAL is a pass thrown sideways or backwards, while a PUNT is a kick made by dropping the ball and kicking it before it hits the ground. A SNEAK is a play in which the quarterback runs with the ball without handing it off or throwing it. An endrun is a running play in which the ball carrier runs parallel to the line of scrimmage.
