The Greek moon goddesses are ARTEMIS and Selene. ARTEMIS was the daughter of Zeus and Leto, and was the goddess of the hunt, wilderness, and wild animals. She was also associated with the moon and is often depicted with a crescent moon above her head. Selene was the Titan goddess of the moon, and was the daughter of Hyperion and Theia. She was often depicted riding in a chariot pulled by two white horses across the night sky.
