The Greek Epic is a term used to refer to two of the most famous works of Ancient Greek literature, the ODYSSEY and the ILIAD. The ODYSSEY is an epic poem written by Homer that follows the journey of the Greek hero Odysseus as he attempts to return home after the Trojan War. The ILIAD is another epic poem written by Homer that tells the story of the last year of the Trojan War. Both works are considered to be some of the greatest works of literature ever written.
