The term GOLF'S BABE ZAHARIAS refers to the legendary American golfer, Mildred Ella 'BABE' Didrikson Zaharias. She was one of the most accomplished athletes of all time, winning two gold medals in track and field at the 1932 Olympics before becoming a professional golfer. She won 10 major championships and was the first woman to compete in a PGA event. She was inducted into the World GOLF Hall of Fame in 1951 and is widely regarded as one of the greatest female golfers of all time.
