Gland swelling, also known as a bubo, is a medical condition in which one or more of the body's glands become enlarged. It is usually caused by an infection, such as a virus or bacteria, and can be accompanied by other symptoms, such as fever, pain, and tenderness. Treatment for gland swelling depends on the underlying cause, but may include antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medications, and/or surgery.
