Okapis are the giraffes' cousins, and are also known as the forest giraffe. They are native to the tropical rainforests of the Democratic Republic of Congo in Central Africa. Okapis have a similar body shape to giraffes, but are much smaller in size and have a shorter neck. They have reddish-brown fur with white stripes and spots, and their long tongues are used for reaching leaves and fruit in the trees.
