Okapis are the giraffe cousins, also known as the forest giraffe. They are native to the tropical rainforests of the Democratic Republic of Congo in Central Africa. Okapis have a similar body shape to giraffes, but they are much smaller and have a shorter neck. They have reddish-brown fur with white stripes and spots, and their long tongues are used for reaching leaves and fruit in the trees.
