The Gipsy language, also known as ROMANI or ROMANY, is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by the ROMANI people, an ethnic group of traditionally itinerant people who originated in Northern India. It is estimated that there are between 3 and 6 million ROMANI speakers worldwide. The language is closely related to the languages of Northern India, and is written in the Latin script. It has been influenced by many other languages, including English, French, German, and Spanish.
