Gestation Stations is a term used to refer to the two places where a baby develops during pregnancy: the uterus and the womb. The uterus, which has five letters (UTERI), is a muscular organ located in the female pelvis that holds and nourishes the fetus during pregnancy. The womb, also with five letters (WOMBS), is the hollow, pear-shaped organ in the lower abdomen of a woman where a fetus develops during pregnancy.
