The Georgetown Team is commonly referred to as the Hoyas, a five letter word. The team is the intercollegiate athletics program of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. The Hoyas compete in NCAA Division I and are members of the Big East Conference. The team's mascot is Jack the Bulldog and their colors are blue and gray. The Hoyas have won numerous championships in various sports, including men's basketball, women's basketball, and men's lacrosse.
