General Arnold is a United States Air Force General who served as the Commander of the United States Air Force from 2009 to 2012. His full name is General Norton A. Schwartz and his nickname is HAP, which stands for 'High Altitude Precision'. He was responsible for leading the Air Force during a period of significant change and modernization, including the introduction of the F-35 Lightning II fighter jet. He also oversaw the development of the Global Positioning System and the Global Hawk unmanned aerial vehicle.
