Lou Gehrig was a legendary baseball player who played for the New York Yankees from 1923 to 1939. He was nicknamed 'The Iron Horse' for his durability and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1939. Gehrig was a six-time World Series champion, seven-time All-Star, and two-time American League MVP. He is best known for his consecutive games streak of 2, 130, which stood as a record until 1995.
