Gary PLAYER is a South African professional golfer who has won nine major championships and is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of golf. He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1974 and was named PLAYER of the Year by the PGA Tour in 1974, 1975, and 1978. He is the only non-American to win all four major championships, and he is the only PLAYER to have won the Masters Tournament three times. He has also won more than 70 tournaments worldwide, including 19 European Tour events.
