Gary SINISE is an American actor, director, producer, and musician. He is best known for his role as Lieutenant Dan Taylor in the 1994 film Forrest Gump, for which he was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award. He has also appeared in Apollo 13, Ransom, The Green Mile, and The Stand. SINISE has won numerous awards for his work, including an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. He is also the founder of the Gary SINISE Foundation, which supports veterans, first responders, and their families.
