A gardener is a person who tends to gardens and landscapes. They are responsible for planting, pruning, weeding, raking, hosing, digging, and sowing. A SOWER is someone who scatters seeds over the soil in order to grow plants. A HOER is someone who uses a tool to break up the soil and remove weeds. A pruner is someone who trims and shapes plants and trees. A RAKER is someone who uses a tool to gather leaves, grass clippings, and other debris. A DIGGER is someone who uses a shovel or other tool to dig holes in the ground. A hoser is someone who uses a hose to water plants and lawns. A spader is someone who uses a spade to dig and move soil. Lastly, a WEEDER is someone who removes weeds from the garden. All of these tasks are sometimes performed by a gardener.
